This update brings improvements to how you plan your weeks and how the desktop app supports your focused work sessions.

## What's New
### Desktop App: One-Click Launch from Web
If you have the desktop app installed, you'll now see an "Open in App" banner when using MakeTimeFlow on the web. Click it to instantly switch to the native app experience - complete with global shortcuts, native notifications, and menu bar access.
This is perfect for when you've been checking something on the web but want to settle in for a focused work session in the app.
**[Download the desktop app](https://my.maketimeflow.com/desktop)** if you haven't already.
### Desktop App: Smarter Timer Behavior
The desktop app now handles your active timer more intelligently:
- **Stays visible while you work**: The timer view no longer automatically hides when you click away. When you're ready to hide it, the floating timer window appears (if enabled) so you always know where you are in your session.
- **No more surprise window resizing**: When you use the global shortcut to bring up the app, it no longer resets your window size if it's already visible.
- **Better tray display**: The menu bar/tray now shows your remaining time more clearly by truncating long task titles.
- **Fixed full-screen issues (Mac)**: Notification and floating timer windows no longer awkwardly go full-screen when your main window is maximized.

### A little more polish for your WRAP and Time blocking
Your weekly goals now save automatically as you type during your WRAP ritual - no more losing your thoughts if you navigate away or close the browser. You can also review other weeks goals as you build next weeks goal.
Timeblocking got a little attention as well. The ordering of tasks should now match the order you would see in your Focus mode. I also restored the change bucket buttons that had been hidden as we tried to make more space for the title. Hopefull this will help to make timeblocking more useful. More to come...
## Bug Fixes
- **Flow Guidance was sometimes empty should be fixed**: Previously, the Flow Guide tab would sometimes show you there was guidance but then would show you an empty box! No more.

## How This Helps You Level Up
Small frictions add up. Every time you have to remember to save, every time you manually switch from web to app, every time a window resizes unexpectedly - these moments pull you out of flow.
This update removes those small frictions. Your planning thoughts are captured instantly. Switching to deep work is one click away. Your timer stays exactly where you put it.
These improvements free up mental energy for what matters: doing meaningful work toward your goals.
